The oldest area within the region was once enclosed by walls, and walking along this old defensive line does not disappoint. Rich with heritage and offering some of the most beautiful sights in the whole of Costa Blanca,  Javea’s historic town centre is a maze of cobbled streets that you’re able to walk down. You’ll spot a mix of white houses and black trellises, palaces of bygone eras and beautiful buildings, all of which helps to give Javea a charming appeal.

3. Visit Montgo Natural Park

No matter where you are in Javea, it’ll be hard to miss Montgo Massif. The Natural Park rises 753 metres above sea level and there are a number of walking routes that can be explored. Located just 5 minutes away from here is where a daily food market is held. Plaza Celestino Pons is a great place to pick up fresh fruit and vegetables and is often where the locals come to get such goods.
