Living in Calpe

Calpe is one of the most popular locations on the Costa Blanca North. Calpe is a beautiful tourist town with all services at hand. 
What was once a fishing village has since flourished into a sought after tourist location. Situated in the North of Costa Blanca Calpe offers an extraordinary mix of traditional Mediterranean architecture and modern villas, apartments and lots of services. 
Calpe is home to breathtaking sand beaches! You can watch the flamingo in the salinas or climb the south face of the rock Peñón d´Ifach if you are in for adventure.  From the center of the old town alongside the Levante beach towards the port, where fresh fish comes in daily and the best sea food restaurants of Calpe are located, the 1.7 kilometer long boulevard invites you for an evening stroll. Along the northern Playa la Fossa there is another 1.4 kilometer boulevard with restaurants and bars. If you are in for a longer walk you can continue the trail along the coast from Calpe up to Moraira.

Golf players will find the Club de Golf Ifach in the neighbouring town Benissa and Golf Don Cayo in Altea, both 7 kilometers distant. Within 25 kilometers from Calpe there are 8 golf courses. 

The weekly market in Calpe is on Saturdays. Here you can find all your fresh produce, from locally grown fruits and vegetables, olives, spices etc. to kitchen utensils for your tapas cooking at home, leather handbags, shoes and clothing.
