Spanish Property Market Report Q2 2026: Costa Blanca, Costa Cálida & Costa del Sol

Foreign demand also reached a new historic high, with international buyers accounting for 15.98% of all residential purchases in Spain. Alicante Province remains Spain’s leading international property market, with 46.43% of homes sold to foreign buyers. Málaga Province / Costa del Sol followed strongly at 37.01%, while Murcia / Costa Cálida reached 23.71%. The report also shows that demand is becoming increasingly global, with Asia representing 6.75% of all foreign purchases. While transaction volumes moderated, prices continued to rise, confirming a market that is still strong but becoming more selective. Local data shows that premium municipalities such as Benahavís, Benissa, Teulada, Jávea and Altea trade well above provincial averages.
