Inflation figures in Europe have been extremely high over the past 12 months. Several countries have reported above 10% year-on-year inflation rates.  Spain is not any different.Question today is: How much does it cost me to live comfortably in Spain?  
Prices have historically been low in Spain, especially when compared with Northern-European countries´ price levels.

Utility Bills in Spain
Your basic utility bills in Spain, such as electricity, water and heating, still come in at a cheaper monthly cost compared to other European countries. On average, your monthly utility bills could be around  125,- euros for electricity and 50,- euros for water supply for a household with 3 people, though this does entirely depend on how many people are living in the property and lifestyle choices too.  A family with 3 children would spent anywhere between 190,- euros and 230,- euros per month on electricity (in a property with no gas) and around 90,- euro on water bills.

Did you know that 95% of Spanish households have access to fixed broadband internet and optic fiber coverage is over 87%.
There are various service providers and prices for optic fiber start from 29,95 euros p/ month.

The Cost of Eating Out

Nice food is easy to find in Spain. There are many options for a typical Spanish tapas bar, restaurants or luxury cuisine. The cost of eating out in obviously depends on whether you’re looking to treat yourself to some tapas an wine or enjoy a more sophisticated romantic meal for two in a high-class restaurant. Even today in most cases, a 3 course meal at an inexpensive bar/restaurant can cost around €10. Lunch menu are still available for 8,- euros including a starter, main course and coffee or a desert. 
If you’re wanting a 3-course dinner for two in a mid-range establishment, it will cost you around 40,- euros and an excellent class sea front restaurant would be available from 80,- euros, including wine.
